People often think Berlin turned into this crazy party metropolis after the Wall went down. Well, it’s true! But then, Berlin has always had a history of celebrating life to the fullest. Ever heard of the roaring twenties? We teamed up with TV channel RBB moderator Urs Rechn for the new format „Erlebnis Geschichte“ („Experience History“), which is on TV every Tuesday at 9pm and explores Berlin’s history. This time, we dived into the remnants of the roaring twenties’ decadence, glamour and hotspots.
On Tour – The Great Gatsby
We do all kinds of tours. A mouth-watering Gastro-Rallye? No probs. Wild party nights? Hell, yes. Backstage access? Done. Something more sophisticated, maybe an art tour? We got you. But sometimes, you just need something bigger.
It’s not like the epic 5-day tour with a Norwegian e-commerce company wasn’t big enough. We visited ElektroCouture, a fashion technology studio pioneering in wearable technology. Then it was off to Berlin’s virtual reality hotspots and Deutsche Bank’s avant-garde bank branch – Quartier Zukunft. In between we slurped on house-made craft beer at Brlo, devoured asian delicacies at Tim Raue’s Sra Bua and relaxed in artists’ refuge Münzstudio. But for the grand final, we wanted more drama. Glamour. Excess.
Destination – Schloss Fleesensee. A luxurious castle with an in-house gourmet restaurant, a private lake and an amazing beach bar. Our guests were relaxing at the beach, taking paddling courses, playing with RC mini boats and having a good time. They had no idea what was the come. But with evening drawing closer, you could feel the tension rising. What was going to happen?
First – a glamours gala dinner. Everyone smartened up in ravishing outfits. And still, it was just the first course of the night. We handed out masks. „Trust us, you’ll need them.“ And then, it started. With a bang. Many bangs, actually. Fireworks opened a night of exotic geishas, smoky roulette tables, shiny masks, sexy burlesque dancers and lots, lots of confetti. Ladies and gentlemen: the greatest Gatsby party since the 1920s! If there’s one thing we excel at, it’s throwing legendary parties. Don’t believe us? Check out this video and see for yourself.
On Tour – Trend-hunting with IKEA
Great furniture, delicious hot dogs and åwesøme product names. I guess you already know who we’re talking about. To discover retail concepts and innovations that will change the way we shop, eat and live in the future, we teamed up with IKEA’s sales department for a special trend hunting tour. Did we deliver? Read on an find out.
First stop. A restaurant that doesn’t want your cash. Wait, what? At Data Kitchen, you order online and pick up your freshly-cooked food from a glass box. The next big thing? Maybe not. But definitely fun. Just imagine ordering 5 hot dogs before you’re even at IKEA. The future is now, ladies and gentleman. Next on: Nike’s flagship store. Shop assistants connect with customers as they stroll through the store. If you want to buy something – zzzap – it’s done on the spot with a mobile look-alike terminal. The latest fashion trends can be found in LNFA store at Bikini Mall, where local designers showcase their newest creations in an industrial-like concept store.
At the world’s first vertical garden & restaurant, you watch your food grow. Good Bank is a pioneer for circular economy and they grow their salad behind the counter. No spraying, no waste. Further south, their brother-in-mind ECF Farm operates Europe’s most advanced aquaponics project. They use nutrient-rich water from their fish farm to cultivate vegetables. The scale is a little bigger here – they’re the supply basil for REWE, a Germany wide super market chain.
Last but not least, we visited creative Berliners at their home. For laughs? Yes. For drinks? Certainly. But especially to show our clients how IKEA furniture is set up at private homes by Berlin’s notorious out-of-the-box-thinkers. So, if you see in-store gardening, personal shop assistants or a cashless IKEA in the future… just remember. The ideas were born in Berlin.
On Tour – Living (in) The Dream

On Tour – Wild Wild Warsaw
14 missed calls. The world is spinning. This is NOT your bed. You know your tour was a blast when you wake up at 4pm in a Warsaw hotel room. Some people have prejudices against Warsaw. It’s outdated, they only eat pirogis and women are sexier than they have any right to be. Not true. They’re SUPER sexy and have every right to be so. And not just them. The whole city has a sexy and edgy appeal. It’s the ideal place for Berlinagenten tours.
We presented Warsaw’s temptations to a Swedish event agency. At the heart of Day 1 was an exclusive tool designed especially for urban city explorers – the Berlinagenten Geo Rallye App. Soon a horde of aspiring Indiana Joneses chased hints and discovered the city in an interactive social experience. The app lets you exchange pictures in real time, so you stay in touch with your team via our custom social media app as you go. Turns out it’s also great for party pictures. Now we’re sure – we have the prettiest customers!
For the evening, we arranged our gastro-rallye at unique eateries in Warsaw. We had starters on a breath-taking rooftop (level27), mains at a former castle (Qchnia Artystyczna) and cocktail drinks at the hippest venue (NaLato). We wrapped up the tour with a VIP table at a beach club by the river. The next day was off in the morning, as we hit the clubs at 3 in the morning and danced until sunrise.
Sunday saw us cruising in a Cabrio bus, fighting for the tastiest dishes in an epic kitchen battle and rounding it off with a glamorous gala dinner at night. Our fearless leader Henrik was on his feet for 48 hours straight to make it all happen seamlessly. Of course he was polite enough to join guests for drinks (for every round) – it comes with the job.
Long story short. No matter if in Kreuzberg or in Warsaw – we love to entertain you! Join the dark side and enjoy the coolest tour of your life.
On Tour – Carving Ice in Paradise
When we hear “ice”, our thoughts naturally drift towards delicious cocktails and crushed ice – maybe ice cubes – with a tiny rainbow colored umbrella in it, saying “Drink me! Drink me now and love me later!”. Since we understand not all our guests share our well-known passion for cocktails and party hats, we presented them a form of ice anyone can get behind. We proudly present: Our first ice-carving workshop, fuelled entirely by the raw artistic skill of our guests (and just a little bit of mulled wine).
Overlooking the area from Amano’s roof terrace, 11 teams hacked and slashed away with sharp axes to create what we believe is some of the finest ice-carving art in history (see pictures). Of course handling the axes was a little dangerous – but then, we don’t specialise in creating day trips for pensioners but in forging unforgettable Berlin experiences!
To prove that point, our following Gastro Rallye kidnapped our guests’ taste buds and took them on a road trip of culinary delights. A journey from Paris to Tel-Aviv with Mani restaurant’s luxurious cuisine, on to Asia in Tim Raue’s Sra Bua in Adlon Hotel. The last stop was Berlin’s pioneer members’ club – Münzstudio. Münz’s Belle Etage has seen prominent guests ranging from Take That to Quentin Tarantino – just enough for our demanding customers.
With our extensive selection of award-winning tours, we’re happy to please every taste coming our way. However, we’re even more eager to create unique experiences, hand-tailored for our customers’ desires. Whatever your poison is, we’ll add a spoon of awesomeness and make sure you never forget Berlin. And us.
On Tour – S-Group goes Berlin
Nordic IT corporate group S-Group specialises in creating all-in-one business solutions for their customers. When they asked us to host the perfect incentive trip to Berlin for them, we were happy to show what we specialise in – creating unique Berlin experiences off the beaten path, even it’s a trip with more than 250 guests as in this case.
For their 3-day trip to Berlin we curated a programme showing the many faces of Berlin. Our guests resided in the stylish nHow music hotel right on the bank of Spree, where you can actually order a Guitar Room Service who’ll bring anything from headphones to an amplifier right to your room. On the first evening newcomer singer Nessi performed live on stage, while DJ Sara Moshiri was spinning records at our BBQ event on the lush riverside terrace with perfect views over the setting sun behind Oberbaumbrücke.
Following an app-based scavenger hunt with 30 teams combing the city for hints, a graffiti workshop at a hidden underground space and an inhibited summer buffet in one of Berlin’s summer beach clubs, the trip’s highlight finally drew closer.
Berlin’s river Spree runs along the former west-ost border and was the perfect route to a much anticipated gala dinner. We took a boat from the hotel to the vast Bolle Festsäle, that still embody Berlin’s industrial charm of the roaring 20s. The river is a great way to discover some of Berlin’s many secrets and our guides were eager to share their knowledge with the curious crowd.
The gala dinner saw the absolute highlights with stunning live performances by Swedish hightech drummers ConRytmo and a quirky bottle blow show by Glasblas Sing Quintett. The local DJ hero Superzandy, who kept both records and feet spinning until well past midnight, rounded up the sparkling gala. According to the management team of the company the intensive Berlin itinerary scored 10 out of 10 points. We love and know how to entertain people!
On Tour – Follow the Flamingo
We have demanding customers who’ve already seen it all. They’re bored by Ibiza, St. Tropez and the likes. In their last desperate attempt to find a new jetset hotspot, they turn to the right place – to us. Our tireless missions around the globe make us the perfect fit for extraordinary traveling desires, as we spot trends long before they hit the mainstream. It’s time to give you a sneak peek at how Berlinagenten’s brand new tour concept works its magic in a hotspot that’s still off the mainstream radar. We invited our friends from a Swedish internet company to Follow the Flamingo to lovely Sopot!
Whenever we bring the Berlinagenten experience abroad, the Flamingo already heralds our arrival from the distance. In Sopot he’s had one drink too many an excklusive vodka tasting, accompanied us to a bike tour along the coastline, was absolutely no use when we tried to flee the Sopot Escape Room, and even had a second helping at the White Marlin, Sopot’s best fine dining restaurant. Of course our Flamingo is as much as an hedonist as we are and helped us conquer stylish rooftop venues, shaked his non-existing plastic feathers in pumping nightclubs and laughed at us when we presented our gourmet-trained bellies at Sopot’s most fashionable beach clubs.
In aspiring Sopot, you can see anything from simple pedals boats to imposing yachts at the waterfront and naturally we didn’t opt for pedal boats. In no time we were out on the blue sea on our sleek luxury catamaran and enjoyed a decadent vibe that’s usually reserved for Sopot’s rich and famous. What happened in internationals waters… better stays a secret. Let us tell you this much: They were loud complaints when we set sail for mainland again. No-one wanted to go home.. or even knew where home was, exactly.
If you’re thinking about booking a custom-made Berlinagenten tour, don’t hesitate. With the help of our Flamingo, we bring the Berlinagenten experience to a worldwide level!
On Tour – Berlinagenten Kitchen Battle
We’re well known for making all our customers’ desires come true (as long as they’re not too naughty… but even then… ah, the memories). However, when our friends from a hotelsoftware company asked if we could provide them with a cool cooking class, we had to say no… because honestly, cooking classes are boring. Unfortunately we don’t have “boring” on the menu. You can hardly switch the TV on without seeing a stressful kitchen chef competition, so we considered this trend and created a reality tv show activity where we put our guests into a similiar situation with cameras broad casting live. Berlinagenten’s first Kitchen battle was born.
The facts: rough industrial location, 6 high class chefs as supervisors, a camera team, a selfbuilt street food market, a stage, vast amounts of beverages and 50 clueless participants who had no idea what was coming to them. We warmed our guests up with Currywurst and Champagne in the gourmet supermarket Frische Paradies before unveiling the big surprise. Today, you become the chefs!
The rules were easy. 4 groups, 4 courses (and a live quiz show, just to spice things up). Each group cooked one course and in the end everyone got to vote for their favourite dish (that wasn’t from the own group). The points from the voting and the quiz show combined would determine the grand winner.
And so the battle began. The teams followed the instructions of their chef leaders, foremost the Gebrüder Eggert, two sexy chefs from Berlin with beards and beers, whose main task it was to observe and make witty comments. Soon each kitchen stall was full of activity and buzz. There was laughter, drinks, mingling, handicraft food work and even spying.. Every team was absolutely smashing it, giving their everything to cook the best food and to beat the other groups. In the end the starter course – a lovely chevice – made the race for the top, followed by an amazing salad, handmade strudes and last but not least – a tasty Berlin burger.
If you’re looking for extra ordinary events, give us a call. From tasty to taboo, Berlinagenten makes anything possible. Guten Appetit!
On Tour – P&G And The Mini Disco
We’re not exaggerating when we claim we know what’s cool in Berlin. As true Berlinagenten it’s our job to know – and to find out. The scene is always changing and new trends emerge faster in Berlin than people get rejected at Berghain on a Saturday night. Every day we’re roaming Berlin’s streets with our coolness radar in hands and wait until it violently starts beeping. We offer the same service to companies with our specially tailored Cool Hunting Tours.
When Procter&Gamble‘s Japan division asked us to be their hunting-partners in crime, we couldn’t say no! Of course P&G is especially interested in finding Berlin’s hairy trends. Viktor Leske’s contemporary hair saloons are what’s hot right now – they offer a minimal, sleek design that goes perfectly with the typical Berlin understatement.
In the Bikini mall our customers didn’t only hunt trends, they became trend setters. At LNFA Concept Store they were to choose their own set of super trendy clothing and experienced what it’s like to be a model first hand. Each and everyone became part of a cool photo shooting and we looked like a kinky group of Kreuzberg fashionistas when the photos were shot.
The coolest part of the day was our session in the world’s smallest club on the RAW premises. If you toss in a coin in on old telephone cell, a disco ball appears, lights start flashing, party music starts playing and smoke machines do the rest to create an instant party atmosphere. Some things only exist in Berlin…
